Aw man, too bad this isn’t for the Kindle fire HD. Some of my siblings, my dad, and I just decided to get one for my mom for Christmas.
I hope the same for the Kindle Fire HD, Have the reg Kindle Fire and I love it. Hoping to get the HD one for my DD and maybe myself to and give my reg Kindle Fire to my DH.

You only get that price if you opt in for special offers on your lock screen. It will cost you $15 to get rid of that option after you register your device. Might be better off buying the one without the special offers and saving yourself the hassle of opting out later for $15.

I was just researching this and the Nook Color for my kids. I decided on the Nook based on capabilities and it’s on Black Friday for $99! Research before you buy, I was kind of surprised.

Walmart! I googled and did a side by side onlineparison of the Nook and the Kindle.
Yes, the nook is better, but if you’re not avail to get it on black friday this is a great option, plus you can return it.
I was very surprised about what I read, I thought the Kindle would blow the Nook out of the water…not so much.
I think the Kindle is so much better. I get tons of free books everyday and one free app a day to. I would never get a Nook over the Kindle Fire.
I agree, Jenny! I’m a Kindle girl! The Nook just isn’t very appealing to me, but I think it’s more personal preference than anything else on my end. I just really love Amazon. LOL
No the nook is way better. I’d love to get it, but on black friday with others wanting the same thing it’s hard. This is certainly a back up for me.

I paid 129 with tax no shipping because I did their amazon shipping member thing and I did see the 30.00 promotional I left it in their. But the original price was at 159.00 minus sale minus discount and free shipping add tax to it.. I did not see one for 129????

If you have been looking at the Kindle Fire, I’d definitely get it!! I have one and I bought my niece one and it is fabulous. We use it for books, games, movies and I am using it for web browsing right now. It is especially nice if you have amazon prime for the free movies.

I have the Kindle Fire and love it. It retailed for 199$ last Christmas. I bought a refurbished one at Best Buy 2 days later for $150. People get them and return them. You get the same warranty. Do note though, Kindle Fire outside in sun is impossible.

I went for it. We have a regular Kindle which I do read on. My MIL & SIL have one and my kids said it’s awesome. I figured it can be a household gift.
I had $300 in giftcards so went ahead and picked it up for my daughter for Christmas! Go for it!
If I hadnt done so much shopping on Amazon the past few months, it would have been free! I did order it. I figured if I need to I can always cancel it before it ships or return it if i don’t open it.

I don’t know if this gets rid of the special offers or the personalized reonlinemendations. I don’t know enough about kindle.
I just wanted to give you a big thank you, Collin, I signed up for expotv due to your posts a few months ago and had already earned $125 in GCs for Amazon that I was saving up for a tablet like device that could play movies and apps.
