Wow! If you received the super rare (and I’m guessing super regional) $1/2 ANY Necco (New England Confectionery Co.) 9 oz or larger Bags coupon in your 10/21 Red Plum insert, you can score some great deals on candy! Even better, I headed on over to the Necco site and typed in “Coupon” in the search box which pulled up this $1/2 ANY Necco 9 oz or larger Bags PDF coupon link. I am usually leery of PDF coupons, but since this is advertised on their site, it appears to be a valid coupon. Just note that this coupon does expire on 11/7.

Plus, check out a couple of the deals I spotted…

Walgreens:
Necco Mary Jane peanut butter kisses 11 oz $0.99
Use the $1/2 regional coupon found in the 10/21 RP or here
Final cost only $0.49 per bag!
-What an awesome deal for an 11 oz bag of kisses!

Family Dollar:
Necco Mary Jane peanut butter kisses 11 oz $1
(+ possibly other Necco candy included in sale)
Use the $1/2 regional coupon found in the 10/21 RP or here
Final cost only $0.50 per bag!

(Thanks for the heads up on these deals, Rich!)

When we were kids we avoided houses that gave out Mary Janes and Peanut Butter Kisses. They literally pulled out your fillings. Yuk! We threw them in the garbage.

You are so right. Terrible for your teeth. I made candy apples over the weekend and after one frightening bite I threw them away. I was certain to lose a filling and used warm water to release it from my tooth! I didn’t remember them being so sticky. Although my kids have never even had a cavity (9,7 & 2) no need to impact hard sticky candy in their teeth. I do still love the Necco wafers!

Really? I always loved them as do my mom and grandma. lol

WOW! I think I just used a dollar’s worth of ink to print that coupon.

    • Jerrica

Me too my ink ran low after this coupon, lol

  3. amber

Anyone know of a way to print just the coupon. All that black is ridiculous!

Figured it out. Zoom to 150% and put the co5up7o-n/in viewWhen you go to print underneath current page, etc. click on More Options, then click on current view.

Thank you Amber-your suggestion on how to get it to print with less ink worked great!!

What I do when I print PDF coupons is use the Snipping Tool (found under accessories) to snip just the coupon from the page. Then, I save the coupon in My Pictures. When I want to print the coupon, I just click on it in My Pictures then click on print. If you have Windows Photo Gallery, then you have the option to print full page, 5 X 7, 4 X 6, 3.5 X 5, etc. Below the picture you’re going to print, you can select to print several copies at once. It usually works better if you deselect “fit picture to frame.”

If I know ahead of time that the actual “coupon” in on the bottom of the page, I set my printer to do a rotate 180 degrees by clicking on the “180 degree box in printing preferences.” It allows the bottom portion to start printing first. Then I hit the cancel button on the printer when I am sure the coupon portion has finished printing off. It saves me a lot of ink that way. I then reset my printer preferences by unchecking the rotate 180 degrees box. Not all printers have this option though.
    Hope this helps.
