I know this is probably not the best place to post about, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced any problems/reactions when using Colgate Optic White toothpaste?

    • Sandy

      Hi Nicole,

I started using a tube of this and not even half way through the tube my teeth were super sensitive to hot and cold food items. I just decided to throw the tube away. Some people have stronger teeth than me but it was not the toothpaste for me. I also read other onlineplaints after I started to experience the sensitivities.

      Hope this helps.

    • KeleB

My teeth became super sensitive after using it as did my husband’s.

      • DR

I just started testing this toothpaste. I do find it strong. I haven’t gotten super sensitive, but the taste is really strong. I don’t think I will try the mouthwash.

    • Julie

I had the same problem. I started feeling not only sensitivity to hot and cold but I also felt like nerves were twitching in my teeth. When I stopped using it, it (mostly) went away. I would not use it again.

    • Sarah

I have really sensitive teeth and i was only using Sensodyne for a while because any other toothpaste made my teeth even more sensitive, but this toothpaste actually didn’t. Also, i can’t use whitening mouth washes because they hurt my teeth but the Colgate Optic White one actually didn’t.

    • White teeth and no sensitivity

I have sensitive teeth as well, however I knew that this product may affect it so I purchased the ACT mouthwash and have had no problems with sensitivity.

I got a 4.00 off 3 optic white products last nite from the magic coupon machine at cvs. I paired it with 3- 1.00 off the toothbrushes and paid around 2.62 and got 4.00 back in ecb. This week they are 2.99 with 2.00 back (limit 2).

    • lovedeals

same thing I did yesterday. It’s better to buy it this week at cvs.

The Optic white were on sale for $2.99? My ad only lists the Colgate Total or Maxfresh for the $2.99

    • lovedeals

It is on sale for $2.99 this week. I bought it on sunday and I got the $2 ecb too. I went today and yes it is on sale for this week.

I just got it at Rite Aid. I have the gold discount so I found the best onlinebo was the large mouthwash 32 oz for 6.63 and 4oz paste for 3.83 ($ after discount) total was 10.46. I used two .75 q’s so came to 8.96, paid with 8. up+ and rest cash and got $5 up+. Also did the boire deal with the b1g1 cleanser/strips mfg q. Got 2 strips and 2 cleansers for 13.58, 6.79 ea after discount for strips, and got back two 5 up+. So they were .90 each for 4 items! Also I paid with 13 up+ so only had smal oop besides the tax. Receipt shows .54 subtotal and 2.92 in tax with 15up+ back 🙂
