Darn. I already have paperless billing.

Pretty sure we already do paperless, but AT&T employees do not qualify for the offer. Double whammy for my household! Bummer!

doesn’t confirm you will be receiving the visa card anywhere after I enrolled, hope I get it, just curious if anyone got any kind of confirmation (I just wanted to make sure since I never received any of the lowes cards after signing up for their emails a couple weeks ago…)

    • Amber

I didn’t receive my Lowes card either. I am getting a bunch of emails from them now though.

      • mindy

did you check the box to receive their promotion/ad? if you didn’t, they probably won’t send the coupon.

        • Wendy

chatted with the customer support “Redemption details provided to customer by email within 5 weeks of activation of qualifying enrollment. Redemption requires customer to retain qualifying enrollment in Paperless Billing for a minimum of 90 days and at time processing of reward is onlinepleted.” so I was told the visa gift card will be mailed to me after 90 days of paperless enrollment

We switched to AT&T a few months ago and I have to say that it is one of the worst decisions we have made. For the first three months, the day after I paid the bill the DVR went out. We are now on our 4th DVR. Every time we call and ask to talk with a supervisor they say they will have someone return our call and it has yet to happen. Every customer service rep we have dealt with has been rude and acted like we were inconveniencing them by calling. Unfortunately we are in a contract and the cost to get out of the contract is expensive. Oh well. Live and learn. I think I will take them up on this deal though. If they are willing to pay us for not getting a big packet in the mail each month I’m all for it. Thanx hip2save!

Love my U-verse and DVR. Much better than Charter Cable. I resisted paperless billing until this promotion.

Also, always open all junk mail from AT&T, close to our one year anniversary with U-verse, I got a letter from them that I almost threw away and it had a $10 voucher for a gift card as a Thank You.

It actually breaks my heart to see paperless billing. I have family who works in the envelope industry and they are closing many plants down because of lack of business. I know we’re trying to help the environment but many of these people are losing their jobs with no luck of finding others. Please think about this when you try and cut down on envelopes or other mailers. It’s helping the envelope workers as well as the postal service. You can always recycle the paper afterwards if you don’t want it!

I took advantage of this offer at least a year ago. I noted that you had to keep the service for three billing periods. After waiting for a sufficient amount of time and not receiving my card, I called customer service. I went through at least three customer service representatives before I got the issue resolved and got my card. I kept my initial confirmation e-mail, and I’m glad I did because I was able to tell them exactly when I signed up.

I did a similar deal a year ago and never got my card. The deal was enrolling in auto pay and paperless bills. It told me to wait 90 days and the card would onlinee, but it did not. I was going to call customer service, but it was a huge hassle for me.

I am a little sad I have had at&t for almost four years now and I have always had paperless billing. It bothers me a little that they do not reward their continuous customers with anything. I have never recieved a voucher or credit in the mail or by email:(
