Well, Joel, I have to say, I tried the free card when it was last offered (a few months ago) and spent ages getting a fun card for my brother’s birthday in October. I requested that the card be sent to me, but it was sent to him instead, in MARCH! Not exactly okay in my book. I got the email that it was on its way to him and immediately emailed customer service to attempt to intercept it so it could be mailed to me directly. Well, three weeks later I got an incredibly lame and unapologetic email from customer service saying, essentially, “Sorry, it already went out.”
Wow! I don’t think I would like to ever use your card onlinepany again as a result. I am a blogger and have used many of the card onlinepanies and they have all been really great to work with and with excellent quality. Until Card Gnome. I just thought you should know. Too late to really undo the damage (a little embarassing to get the card 6 months in advance; makes me look like an idiot), but thought others might want to know. Never actually saw the card so I can’t vouch for the quality. I did like the options though, that was a bright spot.
