Heads up for folks in some GA locations.
These Q’s have not been scanning for cashiers. This is the voice of experience. Last time they were on sale, mgr. had turned down the lady that had onlinee in right before me to get some. Her Q’s wouldn’t scan-she gave up too easily and walked out.
I kept working with him. They are legit Q’s, not expired. Mgr. figured a way to scan just a few so I could get all 8 of mine. I later contacted Corp. to let them know what a FAB mgr. they’ve got working there! 🙂

    • Laura

      You buy 8 papers?!

      • Danielle

she might but you don’t have to buy 8 papers to get 8 coupons. i get 2 papers and the rest of my family gives me what they don’t use. plus i get from my moms work. sometimes i can get up to 20 coupons for an item thanks to people passing along coupons!

        i love coupon sharing :]

        • Laura

          That’s awesome! 🙂

          • Danielle

it really is. at my moms work, i do the dirty work and find all the deals. then i email the list to everyone. that way they know all the deals and know if they want to hold onto their coupons. if not, they just pass them along. then at the end of the week, i hold onto all the coupon packets and organize them for future deals. we work as a team. it’s really a great thing we have going on.

    • mel

I found that if you have multiple items, its best to let the cashier scan the item, then coupon, next item, coupon and so on. If you have a coupon for off 2 or more, have the cashier scan the group, the coupon and so on.

Luckily, the DG I go to has updated their registers, so the new coupons scan, but before it was a PIA and the cashiers refused to “push them through”, even though the coupons were from the newspaper. When that happens, I tell them to void the item off and then they say let me try again. If it doesn’t work, then they call the manager who overrides it!

Any idea if men’s is on sale also?

    • Shayla

mine did not carry nivea men’s bodywash =(

  3. Amy

I love this body wash. I am using Olay right now and don’t like it nearly as well. I hope I got this coupon so I can score this deal.

    • Kim

Amy, I love this stuff too!! One time my hubby ran out of soap and had to use this stuff. He thought it smelled terrific. I think he secretly still uses it on occasion even though he has his own manly soap, lol.

      • amanda

haha my hubby loves my deo he has a very bad skin condition and he can only use womans dove deo and nevea body wash he loves it lol!!!!

  4. Laura

  5. elina

An even sweeter deal wait till saturday buy 10 use 10 2.00 coupons and the 5 off 25 then everything is free

    • Shayla

I was thinking the same thing, although doubt by Sat there will be any left. Maybe I can have them put some in the back…no clue how DG does with requests like these =) but I will not be buying 10, just 2 to help reach my $25 (I’m thinking Planters pb since I still have a few of the $1/1…although just found out that ours jacked up the price from $2.50 to $3!)

    • Shayla

FYI…I went today to use the $2 MQ on Nivea bodywash and $5/$25 purchase. Unfortunately, the system prorates $5 over the order so it would only allow cashier to take $1.25 per bodywash. We worked it out that I bought other stuff that eventually the full $2 was applied to each bodywash (after multiple transactions and close to an hour in store) but thankfully I had a very understanding and cooperative manager that worked at it ’til it worked. Good luck!

  6. Samantha

I got the $2 coupon. I love the nivea body wash and always stock up on it with deals like this. Hopefully there is some left when I get there! 🙂

    • Shayla

mine had plenty, even by the end of the week =)

  7. time4mom2

I got these this am for $ .99 each at my local Farm Fresh supermarket. They were starting Super Doubles coupon event (up to and including $2.00/1)!! These were $4.99 EACH before the $2/1 coupon. I would have liked them for $ .50 each, but $ .99 is okay too 😉

Off topic…I’m having a heck of a time posting anymore. I have an account with WordPress.online, but it wants me to log-in everytime, it can’t remember my password, so then I have to reset it, then I lose what I post here. Anyone else?

I went in to my closet DG today and bought 5 body washes. I must say, I too, Love Nivea but the DG has gotten so particular;( They always give me a very difficult time. They stare at my coupons forever, get the manager over, who also stare at my coupons and then tell me that getting 5 is wrong?! I did not clear the shelf; there were about 8 left. She was very ugly toward me, insinuating that I am part the reason for the demise of ethical couponing. My reply, ” I apologize you feel that way, but I buy my papers and/or get them given to me, and feel that I’m not in the wrong at all.” I am very discouraged with couponing. I get this everywhere I go. I do have a small stock pile, I’ll admit, but I also contribute some of my efforts to those who are less fortunate. I have been without a job for over 5 months now and couponing has really been and asset to my family. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks to all!

    • Jeanie

I just started couponing and keep my purchases very small and I’ve noticed the negativity towards couponing also. Today at Walgreens I needed a rain check for the Aquafresh for kids because they were cleared out and the manager seemed a tad testy until I shocked him by saying I only want 2. Then at Jewel Foods I only needed to get one thing so I used the self checkout and the woman manning them was a total hag towards me because I wanted to use a coupon. Apparently, they don’t allow you to input your coupons, they have to and it’s a process. What a hassle! I don’t know what kind of people the stores are dealing with, but it sure is making it ugly for those of us that play by the rules. I don’t like being treated like I’m some grabby, hoarding sleazebag out to rip off the stores.

    • Shayla

I too have had the highs and lows of couponing (just ask my hubby =) I sometimes have upwards of 20 coupons thanks to several couponing sites that offer similar coupons and access to multiple onlineputers from friends and family. I am one of those that does everything in my power to maximize deals for both me, my family and friends, and local organizations and by no means do I try to “take advantage” of stores, as I want it to be a win-win-win for me, the store, and manufacturer (as I am most likely beonlinee a loyal customer if I like the product). You do not have to justify your couponing to anyone…my advice, if they give you a hard time, just smile and explain you were unaware of such limits and next time you will separate your orders or go elsewhere. I tend to shop during the weekdays as there are less lines and I found that cashiers/other customers are more understanding of couponers because likely they are couponing too! Best of luck and keep at it.

Does anyone know if this is a sale price or is it this price all the time? I cant make it until next week.

  10. A_B

The exact type u featured gave me a head to toe rash if u have sensitive skin I DONT reonlinemend this kind, but other Nivea scents/types of body wash may be suitable for u 🙂 I had to spend $7 and buy Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash 🙁

    • Mandy

I also get bad break outs must be the sulfates and castrol oil in the body wash two ingredients I try to avoid. I will try neutrogena also thanks.

I also live in middle tn and I got these coupons. They were already marked at $2.50 so I was able to score 3 of them. I checked two Dollar General’s in my area and both were sold out of the Wisk Collin posted about earlier but I went to Walmart and price matched it. Something else I found while I was at Dollar General was Colgate Total Advanced 5.8 oz toothpaste on sale for $2 and I had several $1 off coupons so I scored 7 of them so you might wanna check out the clearance section before leaving. Something else I was able to score pretty cheap was Dove shampoo. The were discounted to $3.50 each and I had 4 $2 off coupons that Collin had posted about a few days ago from Walmart.online, plus a Dollar General coupon for $1 off 2 so I was able to score four of them for $1 each!

  14. Bere

There is Walgreens coupons in the cosmetics counter…2/1 Nivea…good luck!

  15. Jenny

I did not receive the red plum insert that had the Nivea coupon in it. Is there a place I can print this off? Thanks

  16. kathie

Coupons would not scan at DG in WP,MO either. Clerk very rude about it. Never had this problem with insert coupons before.
