  Isn’t the Mott’s for Tott’s the same, but with water to cut the sugar content? I buy regular Mott’s apple juice, and mix half and half with water. Goes twice as far and the same price 🙂 I actually do it with most of our juices for the kids.

  Yes, I know it’s just watered down juice, but I’m lazy. What can I say?? LOL I like being able to just take the one container out and pour. Plus I can’t always count on hubby to get the mix right 😉

  That says mott’s medleys, I don’t think that’s included. BUT maybe… we’ll have to have a store check to verify.

   Yay I so needed a deal on apple juice. I stocked up when I was pregnant, and yesterday I was cleaning out my pantry and found 8 expired bottles that I had totally forgotten about. 🙁 I am gonna donate them to the food bank to see if they can still use them because they just expired last month but there is no way I can use all 8 bottles that soon. 🙁

  I am pretty sure the food pantries can not accept expired food. In the unlikely event someone got sick from it they could be in trouble. Call before you go over there, I’m pretty sure mine won’t take it.

  Mine doesn’t either. In some cases they won’t even take food that espies within the month (baby food…).

  I’d call first too, just to save yourself the trouble of lugging those heavy bottles over.

  Thanks guys, good point. Ours will take recently expired foods because they work with the soup kitchens and local shelters that can use the food right then. We have a ton of homeless people in our area. They just expired on 9/8/10 so we opened one this morning for breakfast and it smelled and tasted fine. I just can’t bring myself to pour them out when I know there are a lot of people who might could use them. If they decide to trash them that is out of my control, at least I tried to help out. 🙂

  Our food bank takes expired products. They have guidelines from the manufacturer they go by in determining what they’ll take that is expired.

    Just got home from Target! Our apple sauce was only $1.67 a package, so even better a deal! Was able to grab 5 apple sauces and 5 juices! Every little penny helps! 🙂

    Okay ladies, questions! I have been couponing for over a year but I have never shopped at Target before. Can someone explain how the gift card deals works? Do you actually get a gift card that you can use anytime? How soon does it expire? Also how many gift card deals can you do per transaction and can you do the same gift card deal more than once in the same transaction? Can you use the gift card to get more of the same deal and still get a gift card back? LOL! So sorry for all the questions, I am just trying to get all the facts before I go to Target!! Thanks in advance for your answers!

  Can someone explain how the gift card deals works?
  **When you buy the participating item(s), the register will prompt the cashier and she will load a GC for you. You cannot use it on that transaction to pay, but you can use it on the next one.

  Do you actually get a gift card that you can use anytime? **Yes

  How soon does it expire? **No expiration date.

  Also how many gift card deals can you do per transaction and can you do the same gift card deal more than once in the same transaction?
  **You can do as many as you want, but I try to limit it to 1 or 2 GC deals myself so I don’t overwhelm the cashier.

  Can you use the gift card to get more of the same deal and still get a gift card back?
  **Yes. Each transaction is a new deal and the GC is a form of payment, so you can roll them from one deal to the next!

    Yeah I went in to Target yesterday, and you can buy 5 Mott’s products in one purchase, get the gift card, then buy 5 more, use the gift card to pay for the next purchase, and so on and so on.

    Did any of you guys know that If your Gift Card is under $9.99 You can Cash them out at Guest Servises?? I have done this plenty of times at all of the Targets that I go to here in So. Cali. =)
