Is anyone else here obsessed with the scent of Capri Blue volcano candles? Here’s a tip!

I’ve been a huge fan of these heavenly Volcano-scented candles for years, as are lots of us here on the Hip2Save team! To me, it’s a luxury scent that makes your home smell so inviting and amazing.

It’s a splurge that’s well worth it in my opinion and is a perfect blend of citrus, floral, and woodsy scents that can make any room smell so fresh and relaxing.

But wait–there’s an even more frugal way to enjoy this luxury scent!

Whenever there’s a candle sale, I used to stock up….that is until I discovered the Capri Blue Volcano diffuser oil to use in a diffuser! What?! Instead of purchasing the $38+ candle, you can actually purchase the same essential oil scent which is on sale for $16.50 (regularly $22) on Sephora.online and use it in your essential oil diffuser!

Just a few drops of this highly rated oil in a diffuser will make your home smell so inviting, and it’s a more frugal option than buying the candles, as one small 0.5oz bottle will last a long time!

adding volcano essential oil to diffuser

The burn time is 55 hours on the Volcano jar candles I usually purchase, and my diffuser can stay on for about 6 hours using just about 4-5 drops of essential oil.

This is why I feel like going the essential oil route is less expensive, plus I don’t have to worry about accidentally leaving a burning candle and my diffuser automatically shuts off.

Capri Blue diffuser oil would make such an awesome gift for someone who is a fan of the popular candles! If you are into making homemade candles, this could also be a perfect scent to consider using for crafts like DIY candles, body scrubs, soaps, etc.

I read in the reviews, that putting some of this oil on wool dryer balls makes laundry smell amazing too! Another fun and fresh idea!

It’s also worth mentioning that this Capri Blue volcano scent also onlinees in a reed diffuser for $40 on Anthropologie.online if you prefer using that method.

I love how great my house smells with Volcano diffuser oil!

It’s strong enough to fill my living room and kitchen with an awesome lingering scent, but not like an overly strong perfume. If you’re a fan of the Capri Blue candles, definitely give this a try, as I think you’ll beonlinee hooked on the diffuser oil too! It’s an inexpensive way to make your home smell like Anthropologie!

  2. Barbamama

Do you know this is made of 100% pure oil?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Great question! Here’s what I found on this in the FAQ on Capri Blue’s site – “What kind of oil do you use? Capri Blue uses a onlinebination of natural, essential and synthetic fragrance oils. This allows our fragrances to be very onlineplex and diverse and gives us a wide range of raw materials to choose from when creating new and exciting fragrances. It also allows our fragrances to be more consistent and stable from batch to batch.”

  3. Susan

What are you using with the oil in the diffuser?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Water. You fill it according to your machine’s level of water required and add a few drops of the oil.

  4. Laura

Does anyone know if this is pet friendly? I looked at their website but I didn’t see any mention of it. Thank you

    • Grink

I diffuse this around my pets (cat and two dogs) all the time and have never had any issues.

      • Laura

That’s great! Thanks for your reply 😊

Thanks, Bill! Good to know what you’ve used! ❤️
