   My Target would not accept the Aveeno $3 coupon for the 2.5 oz. size tube.

  Thanks for the heads up on the Aveeno Lotion. It appears the 2.5 oz size is considered travel size which is excluded by the coupon. We have adjusted the post with another item!

   Why are you advertising the $3 Aveeno Coupon for the 2.5 ounce tube. I have yet to hear anyone that has luck with this without having the cashier push it through. Most were rejected.

   Target would not accept the coupon because the coupon states excludes travel and trial sizes. Travel size is considered anything that is small enough to go on an airplane 2.5 oz. In addition the target coupon also excludes travel or trial sizes. So this particular item doesn’t work.

  It’s not about onlineplaining. People need to know that the coupon may not be accepted at their Target store. It is frustrating to get to the check out and have coupons rejected.

  Thank you Gillian 🙂 – they have adjusted the post. Very frustrating in deed. Printing coupons(ink isn’t cheap) then trying to find a retailer to accept it.

   I used 2-$3 Aveeno yesterday on the 2.5 oz size at Target. The cashier (new according to her name tag) had to call over the GSA, however. The GSA verified my purchase and had the cashier write $2.97 on each coupon. Kind of funny really, as Target submits their coupons to a clearing house by the bag so the value of the coupon really doesn’t matter!

   YMMV on this one – I had no issue using the Aveeno for the 2.5 through the self check out. Register asked for someone to onlinee over to check my purchase, cashier came over, checked the product and said it didn’t note travel size so he could accept. Good to go!

    Wow had trouble at two Target, wouldnt let me use the Aveeno (trial size) Bic (10 pack was considered a trial size) or Almay (eyeshadow with lipstick is not what the coupon stated) coupon. After rearranging my order the clerk took the coupons off first then the manager indicated my bill was not at 20 to get the 5. I walked out and went to another Target. My next Target clerk and manager indicated I cannot onlinebine the Target coupon with Manufacturer coupons. At this point I ended up calling corporate Today to express my concern on Coupon policies and proper training of employees.
