  I think they are like Extra Care Bucks at CVS. They expire and are only usable at Office Max/Depot

  There is no rebate. Just sign up for the free membership @ Office Depot/Office Max and use the membership when you make the purchase.

  You will receive the $15 and change as a reward certificate in several weeks good @ OD/OM. Final cost $0.01.

  Paying with Rewards and coupons does not impact the payout on “fixed” rewards offers. This does not apply to “percentage” rewards back offers. Since this is a “fixed” rewards offer you can use your rewards on this offer. Also, buying just one of the battery packs means you have a qualified spend for the month >= $10 that allows you to recycle empty ink carts for $2 each. Limit 10 ink carts per month.
